Unless you're from another planet, you've seen the movie Speed. And if you've seen the movie, and you're a fan, you more than likely enjoyed the music that appeared in the film. However, in 1994 when Speed came out, the movie was carried and relied heavily on the film's score and barely featured any lyrical music. But in order to get Billy Idol's title track "Speed" out to the masses without begrudgingly releasing only a single, Fox Records came up with this album which is, as it says on the front "Songs From and Inspired by the Motion Picture" - i.e. only 1 or 2 screen used songs and the rest slapped together to have it out by the time the movie hit theater screens. It's a good soundtrack, not great, by any means, but still worth a listen. Enjoy this release!
Enjoy this
release and please comment. The more you comment and thank me, the more
soundtracks you'll get. Otherwise they will be slow coming and I've got
tons of rare stuff to share. Remember that. No one likes an ungrateful
leech!
BTW - this is going to mark the end of my commentary about the soundtracks. Unless it is vitally important, I'm just listing the soundtrack and moving on.
